Cosmetic procedures that we perform:
Botox® Cosmetic
Temporarily improves crow’s feet, frown line, and other facial wrinkles. This treatment works by blocking nerve impulses which reduce the movement of the muscles that cause wrinkles and lines. Minimally invasive and non-surgical, requiring no recovery or ‘down time.’ Results last approximately three to four months.
Restylane®
A natural cosmetic dermal filler, Restylane® restores volume and fullness to the skin correcting wrinkles and folds. Made of hyluronic acid, a natural substance found in the skin, restylane maintains is shape using the body’s own moisture. Like Botox, this procedure is minimally invasive and non-surgical, requiring no recovery or ‘down time.’ Results last four to six months.
Juvederm™
Similar to Restylane®, Juvederm™ is a natural cosmetic dermal filler. Also made of hyluronic acid, this injectable is in gel form making it an optimal choice for deep wrinkles and folds. This treatment is minimally invasive and non-surgical requiring no ‘down-time.’ Results last six months or more.
Sculptra®
Another filler, however Sculptra works with your body’s natural collagen production to increase dermal thickness resulting in fewer wrinkles and folds giving a more natural look. Treatment is minimally invasive and non-surgical requiring no ‘down-time.’ Results last up to two years.
Chemical Peel
Light to medium peel depth, this treatment will help stimulate, firm and tighten the skin. Our chemical peels are a mixture of AHA's, mainly lactic citric acids as they are well received by the body and are moisturizing. This process breaks the chemical bond of glue that holds the dead skin layer together. The natural exfoliating process is sped up enabling the new, healthier cells to come to the surface, resulting in a healthier more youthful appearance.
This process starts with a gentle cleansing, followed by a specially formulated chemical peel to address your skins specific needs, moisturizer and sun block.
Microdermabrasion
This process is a safe non-surgical approach to skin resurfacing, leaving your skin only slightly red, allowing you to return to your normal activities immediately after. It sloughs off dead skin cells and stimulates the production of new living cells, improving elasticity and texture. It offers many benefits including the reduction of blocked pores and blackheads, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It may also reduce pigmentation problems and significantly reduce mild acne scarring, resulting in a soft youthful glow and improved complexion.
This process starts with a gentle cleansing, followed by resurfacing with our Diamond Tome Microdermabrasion ending with top of the line moisturizer and sun block.
Sonic Phoresis
This process uses ultrasonic rays to actively drive anti-oxidants, topical vitamins and moisturizers into the skin. Gentle waves pass through the upper epidermis and cause temporary widening between cell walls. This increases penetration, retention, and bioavailability of the medications used to improve your skin. Generally performed after microdermabrasion, this is a soothing and relaxing treatment.
Laser Hair Removal
This procedure is a non-invasive approach to permanent hair reduction and long term hair removal (FDA approved at 85%).The treatment eliminates undesired hair from all parts of the body. Controlled pulses of light penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding tissue. Heat damages the hair follicle, thereby eliminating or reducing the potential for re-growth. The laser only affects the hair follicle when it is in the growth phase. For this reason, more than one treatment is necessary. Regular activity is resumed immediately.
Side effects are rare. Soft scabbing, blistering, or redness may occur at the site of the treatment. These symptoms should last no more than a few days as they resolve themselves quickly under the normal healing process.
During your initial consultation you will be notified if you are susceptible to these side effects. Sun or UV exposure must be limited for 2 to 4 weeks before and after the treatment. Limiting these exposures will significantly minimize your risk of skin discoloration.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) – time determined per area.
Light, that when encountered with pigment, in then converted into heat which selectively heats and destroys sun damage, dark spots, broken capillaries, acne, as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Using a patented light source, unlike anything else on the market, this provides greater results with less energy, lower risk of side effects, and better results. A non-invasive procedure that’s mildly uncomfortable, leaving the skin only slightly red with a ‘sunburned’ feeling.
Acne Surgery
This procedure is great for acne prone skin. A deep cleansing of the pores, it removes blackheads, whiteheads and other blockages in the skin. Redness and inflammation are to be expected with this procedure, but no ‘down time’ is required.
Blue-U Blue® Light Treatment Acne Treatment
Blue light photodynamic therapy is an alternative to antibiotics in treating acne. The Blue U Blue Light targets and kills the p. acne bacteria which are responsible for the majority of acne. There are no risks, or ‘down time’ with this procedure.
Iridex532 Nanometer Diode Laser – time determined per area
This laser treatment is great for vascular, birth marks, pigmented and cutaneous lesions. An intense beam of light that is selectively targets red blood cells and melanin in dark spots, causing them to decompose all while leaving healthy cells intact. Similar to the IPL, this is a non-invasive procedure, leaving the skin with a slight red ‘sunburned’ feel.
Candela® V-Beam Laser – time determined per area
This procedure is great for treating blood vessels, sun damage, and large birth marks. This laser delivers an intense burst of yellow light to the skin, which is specifically absorbed by the blood vessels in the dermis. This coagulates the blood vessels which are then reabsorbed by the body in a natural healing process. As with all of our lasers, this is non-invasive and requires no ‘down time.’
